Franchise Alliance President Peter Casey explains the internet lead program.

Consultant Question: How does the lead program work and why don't we give away free leads like the other guys?

Peter Casey's response: There is no such thing as a free lunch, everyone knows that. So why would you believe there is such a thing as a free lead? Everyone advertising on the internet will have a reservoir of inquiries that lack capital, initiative, or both.

Giving them away is actually less of a gift than a penalty…….what about the investment of time the broker spends with the lead? Even if the "free leads" had value, it will be offset by the 10% royalty paid by the broker. Excuse me for doing the math, but if you pay $1800 in royalties for your first sale, how many "free leads" would that buy? I just don't get it, and don't see how anyone could.

Our lead program is quite simple. It operates as a true co-op, meaning it is of the brokers and for the brokers, and has never been nor will ever be a profit center for our company. The program allows our team to pool resources which reduces the cost per lead and also eliminates any duplication. A lead is given to one broker.

We have 35 web sites generating these leads for our team and we could double the volume if demand was there. Our leads are further filtered for a minimum investment level of $30K and also must produce a valid 10-digit telephone number and email address.

The quality of the leads we produce is unmatched in the industry. They are cost competitive, delivered in real time, answered with a personalized high tech auto responder, and filtered for duplicates. That is as good as it gets!
